Petrina Fava is a Pediatric RN, Certified Infant Massage Teacher and is Certified in Pediatric Massage. She is a mom of three; two daughters, ages 9 and 6 and a son, 2 1/2.
Petrina received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Ryerson University in 1997 and currently works part time at Sick Kids’ Multi Organ Transplant Unit which she has enjoyed for almost 16 years.
She learned to teach infant massage in 2008, and in 2011, she trained in Pediatric Massage Therapy, both with Tina Allen, LMT and founder of the LiddleKidz Foundation.
She loves teaching infant massage classes because it focuses on wellness and enjoys coaching families to feel empowered and confident in caring for their children.
With a special interest in energy modalities and alternative therapies, Petrina became a Level II Reiki Practitioner in 2006. Always looking for more, Petrina found an interesting and fun modality called Access Consciousness/BARS™ in 2009 and became a BARS practitioner. Enjoying the teaching and facilitating aspect of this modality, she soon became a BARS Facilitator and began teaching BARS classes in Toronto. Most recently in 2012, Petrina attended a 3 day Access™ Body Process class and is a Practitioner and Facilitator of Access Body Processes.
What Petrina finds so exciting is the simultaneity of gifting and receiving that goes along with the process of showing people their greatness. Petrina is so grateful for the awesome people she comes to know through her classes and her life!
